Her ne kadar Batman v Superman'in senaristi yazıyor olsa da, iş biraz yönetmene bakıyor. Matt Reeves iyi bir yönetmen, kabul ederse güzel olur bence.

  Her şeyin başına dönsek. Batman filminin yönetmeninin Ben Affleck olmadığı bir döneme. Hatta solo Batman filminin henüz duyurulmadığı bir döneme. Bana deseler ki "DC Extended Universe'de bir solo Batman filmi yapılacak. Yönetmen olması için adaylarımız Matt Reeves ve Ben Affleck. Gürkan birini seç" deseler. Bir saniye düşünmeden Matt Reeves'i seçerdim.

  Matt Reeves ismine gerçekten çok sevindim. Reeves, Warner Bros.'un uzun zamandır aldığı en doğru karar olabilir.

Ben senaryo sürecini tam anlayamadım. Baştan yazılacak haberleri çıktı, sonra çok kısa sürede senaryonun hazır olduğuyla ilgili haberler çıktı.

Acaba baştan mı yazıldı yoksa mevcut senaryoda değişiklikler mi yapıldı? DCEU'da şimdiye kadar üç film izledik ve son ikisindeki temel problem senaryoyla ilgiliydi bence. Söz konusu film Batman olunca senaryo daha da önem taşıyor.

  Valla bende anlamadım. Ben Affleck'in yazdığı senaryo kullanılıyorsa o zaman Ben Affleck niye bıraktı sorusu geliyor aklıma. Zira kendisi senaryo kötü olursa yönetmenliği bırakırım demişti. Yönetmenliği bırakınca da doğal olarak senaryo kötü diye yorumlandı. Ardından Chris Terrio yeniden yazacak dendi. Ama aradan bir hafta geçti geçmedi, senaryo hazır herkes mutlu dendi.

  Şahsi fikrim senaryonun tamamen hazır olmadığı yönünde. Bence senaryo hazır diyerek nabzı kontrol altında tutuyorlar. Matt Reeves ile birlikte Chris Terrio senaryo üzerinde sağlam bir çalışma yapacaktır diye düşünüyorum. Çünkü bu kadar kadar kısa süre içerisinde yeniden senaryo yazılamaz. Hem dediğin gibi Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ve Suicide Squad senaryo açısından bu kadar eleştirilmişken aynı hatalar özellikle bu filmde yapılamaz.

Collider'dan John Campea'nın üç farklı kaynaktan doğruladığı üzere Ben Affleck rolü bırakmak istiyormuş.
Ben Affleck ile Warner Bros. anlaşamazsa solo Batman filmi Ben Affleck'in son Batman filmi olabilirmiş.

  Joe Manganiello Katana eğitimine başladığını söylemiş ve filme nasıl hazırlandığını anlatmış. Manganiello'nun hazırlanma süreci ve role karşı duyduğu heyecan beni olumlu yönde çok etkiledi. Rol kesinlikle emin ellerde. Manganiello'nun söylediklerini okumak isteyen olursa diye aşağı attım.



  "I'm somebody that likes to start preparing way ahead of time. So I've read almost all the comic books involving him. Just to get the information out of them. Some of them are useful. Some of them are not going to be useful. Because ultimately the script—that's my text. I have to play that.

  I started katana training recently. Like live sword training and I started meeting with various martial arts teachers and discussing with them. 'Ok, so what are the most offensive styles of martial arts'. Ones where you're not waiting for someone to attack you but ones where you're looking to make the attack. Then what are the most deadly ones? Where are the scrolls, the ancient Japanese scrolls that have these really deadly techniques that you don't teach to the average student out the street? Something that only somebody who would go looking for it that are really really bad, you know, are dangerous. Like, what are those?

  'Ok, so now what are the stances?' What are like some really unorthodox stances that someone who learns say Ninjutsu would stand in? Ok, so now what if that person lost an eye? If that person lost an eye how would they then alter the stance so that you would have better peripheral vision. What would that look like? So then you start cooking, and then you start building a story. Kind of outside-in. That's like a very physical way to build a story.

  Then on the other side of it, like I said, I'm looking at the script rather than the comic books. I mean the comic books are giving me a good general kind of area of what we're talking about. Where this characters located. But the script is really like, you know. Because they might change the canon. There's been like 3 or 4 different ways that he's lost his eye. Are we doing one of those? Or are we doing it a completely new way? Like, I need to play that."

Şu söyledikleri karakteri gerçekten iyi anladığını gösteriyor. Oyuncunun tipi aslında yeterince agresif gelmedi bana Deathstroke için. Bir de yaşlı Batman'e karşı yine daha da yaşlı, beyaz saçlı falan bi Deathstroke iyi olurdu. Tabi bunlar ikincil önemde, aktör kıvırırsa işi bunlara takılmayız. Ama tabi filme Al Pacino'yla Jack Nicholson'ı gençleştirip koysalar yine pek bir şey beklemem ben filmden.

  Hayda! Matt Reeves'i de kaybettik. Filmle ilgili olumlu hislerim geri gelmişti. O da kursağımızda kaldı. Warner Bros.'un yönetmen arayışı böylece yine başladı.

Ardından da filmi Snyder'e versinler. Fragmanda Batman sahneleri bolsa yine bir beğeni oluşur zaten, herkes olumlu karşılar bu değişimi.
