Firat Yasa'nin aslinda ilk albumu ama yillar sonra tekrar okudugumda bence bir Steampunk hikayesi olarak yeterince hakki teslim edilmemis bir calisma:

Cizgili Pijama
19.yuzyilin buhar makineleri-ilk otomasyon denemeleri cilginligi uzerine kurulu bir bilim-kurgu alt turu Steampunk; genellikle alternatif bir tarih kurgusu icinde teknolojinin buyuk oranda buhar gucu ustune bina edildigi bir atmosferde geciyor. Fantastik ogeler icerdigi de oluyor elbette ama bu olmazsa olmaz degil. Edebiyattan sinemaya ornekleri oldugu gibi elbette CR ornekleri de var (bunlarla kalmayip mimariden mucevher tasarimina, bilgisayar oyunlarina genis bir yelpazeyi etkilemis bir akimdan bahsediyoruz). Turkiye'de cok etkisi olmasa da dunyada belli bir etkisi, az da olsa fanatik takipcileri, conventionlari olan bir akim.

Yerli CR uretimimizde belki mizah dergileri sayfalari icinde kalmis onculleri olabilir ama benim gorebildigim kadari ile Firat Yasa'nin Cizgili Pijama'si steampunk alt-turunde ulkemizde verilmis ilk derli toplu album olarak basilmis eser.

Hem oncul-orjinal bir eser olmasi hem de guzel islenmis senaryosu ile hakki yeterince verilmemis bir album Cizgili Pijama. Buharli iskence aletlerinden mekanize-robotik goruntulu yenicerilere, silah tasarimlarindan buharli sariklara harika bir yerli steampunk evreni, steampunk Istanbul'u ve Osmanlisi tasarlamis Yasa. Yer yer ilk album olmanin getirdigi cizim zayifliklari olsa da senaryo ve yaratilan atmosfer bunu fazlasiyla kapatmakta.



Cizgili Pijama'nin bir baska enteresan ozelligi Yasar'in kurdugu dunya ile gercek dunya arasindaki gecislerde kullandigi Baykus ve Kedi alegorisi. Sevgilisi ve kendisi icin sectigi bu alegorik gruntuler-ruya sahneleri cok ilginc zira Steampunk akiminin merkeze aldigi - ideallestirdigi Viktorya donemi estetiginin bir parcasi olan 'Edward Lear' siirlerinden en bilineni; genellikle cocuk kitabi-tekerlemesi olarak kullanilan "The Owl and The Pussycat"e yapilmis bir gonderme olarak okuyorum.
